Ballarat

Global Green International Investments subsidiary company Bioplant is undertaking a new waste to energy project in the City of Ballarat in country Victoria. Bioplant, in conjunction with its international partners Global Green International will be investing over US$70 million into this proposed project which will on completion have the ability to sort and process more than 300 tons per day of MSW.

The total outputs of the plant:

The project will install 6 of GGII patented modular Pyrolysis plants and produce more than 30,000 litres of Diesel per day and generate 300MW of electricity into the local grid. The electricity production will be delivered from the 5 x 2Mw drive heat Meidensha Turbines, with 4 x 1.2 Mw Syn-gas turbines.

Char: 2 tons day

Special activities

It is proposed to build 12 x GGII pyrolysis modular Hybrid plants.

The pre-treatment equipment is designed sort over 480 tons of MSW per day and 12 Hybrid plants will process 252 tons of the dried and sorted MSW per day via a single Hybrid pyrolysis plant. The modular Hybrid plant will produce outputs of both electricity and diesel. The electricity outputs will be delivered from 12 x 2MW waste heat drive Turbines.

The diesel production will be by the way of cooling and refining the syn-gas into a renewable diesel fuel to EN-590 standards.
